The Richmond Seafood Tavern was
established in 2004 in the back streets of Richmond by Danny
Cecchi.
Danny began working for John Rubira at Rubira's Restaurant
in Nth Fitzroy in 1995 where he developed his passion for
the Seafood Restaurant Business.
The Richmond Seafood Tavern offers a selection of high
quality seafood and wines, and is most well known for the
superior level of seafood available.
With the fish being purchased daily and filleted on the
premises, the shellfish being sourced from all over
Australia exclusively and the crayfish being cooked daily
freshness is a guarantee.
Specialties are the seafood platters which are prepared to
suite our cliental tastes and budgets.
The wine list offers an extensive range of Australian wines
commencing from $20 through to premium wines.
Together with the selection of seafood and wine the dining
room comes with a warm, cosy and intimate atmosphere with
either table or booth seating available.

Richmond Seafood Tavern also has a function room to cater
for larger groups of around 15 people or more. Whatever the
occasion; from formal sit down dinners to casual stand-up
functions Richmond Seafood Tavern will cater to your
personal needs.
Overall the staff at the Richmond Seafood Tavern aim to
provide a relaxed quality dining experience with the highest
quality of service.
The head chef, Eli Tamarua, also trained at Rubiras before
working at Vue de Monde and Langton's.
Eli's years of experience in the fine dining industry is
evident in his innovative high quality standard of work. As
